Committee: Shawn Herron, Chair

Purpose: Shall be responsible for working closely with the committees and the Board of Directors to determine legislative needs. Prepares and submits the annual budget to the Board. Recommends legislative changes to the Board of Directors to accomplish purposes of the Woodland Beach SCBD. Stays informed on pending legislation which might affect the residents of London Towne.

Meetings: The committee shall meet at a time and place set by the chairman.

Committee: Vicky Bergmann, Credentials and Mark Labuda, Keys

Purpose: To certify and distribute community stickers for access to community resources. Is responsible for the issuance of boat ramp keys and the maintenance of boat ramps located at Sections 1, 4, and 5. Certifies each member at any meeting of the general assembly and distributes ballots at the LTPOA Annual Meeting.

Sticker and Ramp Key Fees

• Property Owner Stickers (Valid for 3 calendar years beginning in the year issued) are $6.00.

• Stickers for Renters and Dependents of Property Owners (Valid for the 1 calendar year in which it is issued) are $10.00.

• Ramp Keys are $50.00. The key is valid for the calendar year in which it is issued. Turn in your old ramp keys to avoid additional fees.

What Documentation Is Required to Purchase Stickers?

• Property Owners – Proof of Property Ownership (Deed, Tax Bill or Settlement papers)

• Tenants/Renters Proof of Residency A fully executed current lease with names of all parties, property address and the expiration date

• All- Current vehicle, vessel and/or trailer registrations. The documentation must be registered to your London Towne address

• Credit card for online purchase. Or the appropriate amount of Cash, or a Check, per Fees above

Committee: Don Creveling, Chair

Purpose: Has the responsibility of protecting the shoreline from erosion and will make an annual onsite inspection of all shoreline areas, addressing new erosion problems.

Meetings: As called by the chair.

Committee: Devin Capizzi (Chair)

Purpose: To maintain custody of the Clubhouse and grounds, to allow use of the Clubhouse and grounds, to keep a calendar of pending events, to order minor repairs, to purchase necessary sanitary supplies, to oversee janitorial services, and to perform other related duties as directed by the LTPOA President with the approval of the Board of Directors.

Meetings: Held at the clubhouse. As called by the chair.

Committee: Tom Walsh, Chair

Purpose: Has the responsibility of overseeing the improvements and maintenance of community property (swimming beaches, parks, roads, piers, etc.)

Meetings: The first Wednesday of the month (see Calendar for schedule) at 7:00 p.m. at the Clubhouse.

Residents are urged to report suspected violations of building, grading, sediment control and zoning violations in the community.

Committee: Mark Labuda (Chair)

Purpose: The Committee is responsible for addressing issues with the safety and security of the community and Association property through hiring and scheduling security officers and acting as liaison between the Association and law enforcement agencies.

Meetings: As called by the chair.

LTPOA Security: To abide by Anne Arundel County Code 4-7-201, LTPOA provides salaries for special law enforcement (Anne Arundel County Officers) to patrol community property. Officers may patrol in marked or unmarked county vehicles and may be in uniform or in plain clothes. The Officers primary responsibilities are to protect Association Property and to enforce the rules and regulations of LTPOA governing the use of ramps, parking lots (valid parking stickers and passes), parks, beaches, playgrounds, the clubhouse and all other Association property. These officers frequently assist AAPD on calls in the neighborhood, and have full arrest authority while on duty as LTPOA Agents.

Southern police district holds its meetings at the Edgewater District Station, at 7:30 PM on the third Thursday of the month. If London Towne residents have specific concerns, this is a great way to get to know the police officials in our district, influence coverage in our community and to help others in the process.

Purpose: Planning and organizing community events with the approval of the Board of Directors. Devising and implementing ways of raising funds for the Association with the approval of the Board of Directors.

Meetings: As called. Check with your Section.
